To meet the challenge of an ever evolving environment and respond to patrons' needs we were able to recarpet the central area of the library and reupholster the furniture in the lounge area.  These are important and vibrant spaces for students to work and study. A carpet was installed in the silent area in order to mitigate the noise, a concern many of our students who wanted to concentrate had requested. The impact of the work was minimized since the project was completed successfully during the spring semester, while the institution was closed due to the Covid pandemic.
