LIBRARY IN NUMBERS
TYPICAL LIBRARY USE
The library remains a central meeting location on campus with more than 20,000 recorded entries and exits during its busiest months. Â Use of the physical space varies based on the time of day and the school calendar.
INSTRUCTION AND OUTREACH
Instruction and outreach sessions constitute one of the core functions of Priddy library. For the past three semesters, staff delivered 180 sessions reaching more than 2000 attendees in total.
REFERENCE, CONSULTATION, AND SERVICE DESK ASSISTANCE
A core strength of Priddy library is the accessibility of its staff to both students and faculty at The Universities at Shady Grove. More than 2,000 research consultations and reference interactions have been recorded since February 2018.
INSTITUTIONAL HUB
A Hub on Campus. The library’s instructional services have reached 50 academic programs at all nine partner universities. Reference and consultation services have been provided to 42 programs at seven partner universities.
